Let’s be real. Everyone wants to start off a new year being healthy.

Whether or not we admit that it is our “resolution” we all want to start off the year being healthy! Especially after the damage from the holidays. I admit that every year my goal is to be in the best shape of my life, but the reality is, I like wine and cheese too much. I am slowly starting to accept that these “extensive” goals aren’t worth saying any more when you haven’t even accomplished it year after year. So, this year I am starting off 2018 with my “aspiration” to be healthier while still enjoying the yummy things in life, within moderation.

When it comes to hostessing during the beginning of the year and all the diet restrictions everyone is following, it’s hard to plan what meal to cook! You want your guest to be served something yummy that is guilt free and won’t break their diet. Below, I rounded up 5 healthy dinner party recipes, perfect to serve up at your next soiree!

1. Vegan Coconut Curry

Perfect for dinner party guests that decided they want to go vegan! You can also swap the tofu for chicken!

2. Sheet Pan Lemon Parmesan Garlic Chicken & Veggies

I am such a fan of sheet pan dinners! They are SO easy to make and less of a hassle when hostessing. All you have to do it throw everything on the pan and put it in the oven. If you are cooking for a large group plan to put 3-4 pieces of chicken with veggies on a couple of cookie sheets.

3. Zucchini Lasagna

This is an ALL time favorite dinner party recipe to make! It’s low calorie and SO delicious! It serves about 8-10 people too! Perfect for your gluten-free friends!

4. Slow Cooker Salsa Chicken Black Beans and Corn

Recipes in the slow cooker are my hostessing secret! They are SO easy to do and make for a simple recipe you can throw together, especially for a big group. This salsa chicken is my favorite! You can also serve it on tacos!

5. Grilled Salmon with Avocado Bruschetta

I love love salmon. This is another great healthy dish to serve at a dinner party! Though it says to grill, you can also put the salmon filets on a baking sheet lined with foil into the oven for about 20 min. It’s such a delicious way to cook salmon! This recipe is GREAT for friends doing Whole 30! I recommend making a simple side salad to serve with!
