Everyone is finally settling into their normal lives now that the holidays are over.
Most of you are working on New Years resolutions to get fit, save money or maybe even drink less. But just because the holidays are over doesn’t mean the parties are! The best way to kick of the new year is to work in your resolutions and goals for your next soiree, a fun way to keep the parties going but keeping your (and your friends) resolutions in mind.
Here are some great ideas we have for the New Year and New You!
Host a fitness party to kick off those fitness resolutions you have! Have all your guests bring yoga mats and hold a small beginners (or advanced) yoga class. Offer cute water bottles like these heart ones from Bkr for each guest as take away favors (and great inspiration for their work out regime). For post yoga, offer a smoothie bar with a few different ingredients to individualize their smoothies. Use mason jars and cute colorful paper straws for each guest’s smoothie! A great way to kick off the fitness plan and party with your friends!
The holiday crazy-ness is over, it’s time to relax! Host a Spa Party with your friends for a inexpensive way to rejuvenate, refresh, and prepare for the new year. Put out small bowls with warm water, towels, cotton and individual mirrors for each guest. Have them come in their robes and pajamas of course! Offer different facial masks for everyone to try, a mani / pedi station, and yummy light snacks! Set out magazines, play calming music and offer cucumber water. Belinis are also a great addition!
