Alas we come to the last week of summer. With labor day festivities among us, there is no better time to pack up a romantic picnic with your loved one or friends and head out on a hike or to the beach! Stock your basket full of mini bites such as meats and cheese, crackers, trail mix and a delicious vegan chocolate mousse for dessert. The one thing I love most about living in Colorado is how much there is to explore here. I grew up in Dallas and getting outside in the summer just was not an option unless you wanted to sweat like crazy! There is so much to do outside here in Denver, let alone so much of the state to visit! Some of my favorite places in Colorado to go to include Vail, Aspen, Durango and a new favorite Telluride. All these spots are gorgeous and have so much to explore whether it is hiking in the summer or skiing in the winter. Let’s just say I feel very spoiled living here in Colorado!
