Friends-giving (n). The celebration of Thanksgiving dinner with your friends.
I love the idea of Friendsgiving for it’s sole purpose. Gathering your friends to celebrate life with a delicious meal. It is the opportune to time get everyone together before we all head off for the holiday with our families.

If you are hosting a Friendsgiving this year take these simple tips in mind to make it a dinner no one will forget! 1. Make it a pot luck. Have each guest bring a side (and a bottle of wine of course) and you make the turkey – or ham since everyone will likely be having a turkey in the days to follow. 2. Decorate your table with butcher paper and have jars of crayons on the table. This allows for everyone to have a little extra fun during dinner. 3. Signature cocktails are a must! To get the party going have Sangria or Moscow Mules for each guest to enjoy before dinner. 4. Have a festive fall centerpiece. We all may not be as talented as Ladybird Poppy, but foraging a centerpiece is so easy. Gather fall leaves, pine cones, branches, etc. and add in pumpkins and other gourds. 5. Don’t forget dessert! Long I Pie does Thanksgiving orders that will be unforgettable at your dinner. The Drunken Nut is worth trying!
